India captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in the third and last ODI here at the R Premadasa Stadium on Friday.
The Indian line-up would hope to win the third ODI and register a decisive victory. India rolled out six improvements to their line-up and five players are making their presentation.
Sanju Samson, Nitish Rana, Chetan Sakariya, K Gowtham, Rahul Chahar are the five Indian players who will make their presentations.
At the hour of the throw, Dhawan said: "We'll bat first. We need to set up a decent all-out on the board. We have six changes and five debutants. Navdeep comes in among the debutants. We are roused, and we need to complete on a high. With the youths coming in, we are truly energized and looking forward." On the other hand, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka said: "I think the wicket is dry and should remain great.
We have three changes: Ishan Jayaratne, Akila Dananjaya, Ramesh Mendis come in. I think we are in good shape right now and winning this is critical to go ahead."
